The Jenkins, Pinecroft, Summer Grove neighborhood is located in southwest Shreveport, LA mostly within the 71118 zip code. This wooded neighborhood is bounded on its northern border by a railroad track (just to the south of West 70^th St.) and by Mansfield Rd. on its eastern border. The southern border runs along Boggy Bayou and the western and northwestern border runs along parts of Flournoy Lucas Rd. and a railroad track along the southern flank of Shreveport Regional Airport.

The Summer Grove area of the Jenkins, Pinecroft, Summer Grove neighborhood includes primarily smaller (studio, one and two bedroom) apartment homes (within affordable apartment communities) to moderate-sized (three to four bedroom) single-family residences. This residential real estate is occupied by a mixture of owners and apartment rentals in Shreveport, LA.
